Former Super Eagles striker, Odion Ighalo, has reportedly agreed a permanent deal with Saudi Arabian club Al-Shabab.

The AFCON 2019 golden boot winner was said to have undergone the mandatory medicals needed by the club to examine his fitness.

According to TheNationOnline, the Shanghai Shenhua goal wizard agreed personal terms on a two-and-a-half-year deal with Al-Shababp a week after his loan spell at Manchester United came to an end.

The 31-year-old scored five goals in 23 appearances across all competitions for United after arriving on Deadline Day last January, and wrote his name on the hall of fame as one of the only few Man U players to score in all their starts.

“It’s so hard to see this dream come to an end,” Ighalo wrote confirming his departure from Old Trafford.

“But I give God the glory for helping me fulfil this lifelong dream of putting on a Manchester United shirt as a player and represent this great club.

“To the manager, I say thank you for trusting and believing in me when many did not.”

Though, Ighalo’s team is yet to confirm the deal with Al-Shabab, there is still enough time for the striker to complete the move as the Saudi transfer window does not close until February 7.
