‘No act of kindness is too small – Kidwaya rallies support for victims of Yelewata massacre
Reality TV star and philanthropist, Terseer Waya, widely known as Kidwaya, has joined the growing appeal for solidarity and urgent humanitarian intervention following the recent deadly attack on Yelewata community in Benue State.
In a heartfelt post on his verified Facebook page, Kidwaya disclosed that his team is already in contact with trusted local aid organizations and community leaders to facilitate meaningful relief efforts. These include providing food supplies, temporary shelter, and launching fundraising drives for displaced families.
“This is only the beginning,” he affirmed, emphasizing his ongoing commitment to supporting those whose lives have been devastated by the attack.
He also urged the public not to stay silent. “If you’re reading this, I urge you to take action in any way you can , donate, volunteer, raise awareness, or simply check in on someone affected,” he wrote. “We all have a part to play, and no act of kindness is ever too small.”
Kidwaya ended his message with a powerful call for unity: “Let’s stand together for Benue.”
His appeal comes in the wake of a brutal overnight raid by suspected armed herders on the Yelewata community in Guma Local Government Area, which left more than 200 people dead and hundreds displaced.
