NTA to broadcast AFCON 2023 matches
The National Television Authority (NTA) has just announced its exclusive broadcasting rights for all matches of the highly anticipated African Cup of Nations 2023. The revelation came through a concise statement released on its official X handle this Wednesday.
This development follows the unsuccessful bid by Multichoice, the owners of DSTV and Super Sports, to secure the rights for the prestigious football extravaganza, a departure from their previous successes.
According to the statement, “NTA signs memorandum of understanding with Afro Ssportts for transmission of 52 matches of Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire.”
This major deal ensures that NTA will bring every thrilling moment of the continental football spectacle to its audience.
