NYSC: Benue govt begins disbursement of allowances to corpers

Governor Hyacinth Iormem Alia of Benue State has announced the commencement of monthly allowances for National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members serving in the state. During the opening ceremony of the 2024 batch A orientation course at the NYSC Orientation Camp in Wannune, Tarka Local Government Area, Governor Hyacinth Iormem Alia disclosed the implementation of monthly allowances for Corps Members serving in Benue State. Under the new scheme, Corps doctors in Benue State are entitled to a monthly allowance of one hundred thousand naira (#100,000), while other Corps Members will receive fifteen thousand naira (#15,000) per month.
