Ochetoha K’Idoma sacks Mike Magaji as Youth President

The Ochetoha K’Idoma Forum, the apex socio-cultural organization of the Idoma community, has officially rejected the election of Mike Alidu Magaji as President of the Ochetoha K’Idoma Youth Wing.

This decision was taken during the Forum’s 32nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on Saturday in Otukpo.

The AGM condemned the unauthorized election conducted by a faction within the Youth Wing, which blatantly disregarded the National Executive Council’s (EXCO) directive that prohibited any election at this time.

The communiqué from the meeting declared the purported Youth EXCO illegitimate and without any standing.

It was further resolved that the newly elected National EXCO would organize a transparent, inclusive, and credible election for the Youth Wing within the next quarter, ensuring it aligns fully with the Forum’s objectives.
