Okocha backs Chukwueze to shine at AC Milan

Former football star Jay-Jay Okocha is placing his bets on fellow Nigerian talent, Samuel Chukwueze, labelling him as “outstanding” and foreseeing a successful journey for him at AC Milan.

Chukwueze recently made the move to Rossoneri after showcasing his skills during an impressive five-season tenure with Villarreal in Spain.

The winger is gradually being integrated into Stefano Pioli’s team, with the majority of his seven Serie A appearances this season being as a substitute. This includes the Wednesday Champions League clash with Borussia Dortmund.

Jay-Jay Okocha, a former talented attacker, firmly believes that the Nigeria international possesses all the necessary attributes to excel at the San Siro. Speaking on behalf of the Bundesliga, Okocha commended Chukwueze’s outstanding performance in recent years.

“He’s been faced with a new challenge and it’s all about how quickly he can adjust.

“Language is always important because it’s always good to be able communicate but his talent is never in doubt.

“I think he’s a great addition to the Milan team and I have no doubt that he will do well.”
