One shot as cultists exchange bullets in Ugbokolo

A yet-to-be-identified man was on Thursday shot in the mouth as rival cult gangs exchanged bullets in Ugbokolo, Okpokwu local government area of Benue state.

IDOMA VOICE gathered that the suspected cultists were on their way to launch an attack on some of their counterparts who were believed to be students of the State Polytechnic who in a counter attack started the shooting spree.

Family of the injured victim reportedly rushed him to an undisclosed hospital in Makurdi to receive proper medical attention where is currently battling for his life.

At the time of this report, the Police is currently investigating the case to uncover the root cause and bring the perpetrators to book.
