Osimhen accepts Al-Hilal offer, agrees personal terms with Saudi club

Victor Osimhen is edging closer to a move away from Napoli, with a major step forward taken in his potential transfer to Saudi Arabian giants, Al-Hilal.
According to Goal.com, the Nigerian striker has agreed personal terms with the Riyadh-based club, with a base salary reportedly worth $35 million (£29m/€32m) across the duration of his contract.
However, while terms with Osimhen have been settled, negotiations between Al-Hilal and Napoli remain unresolved. The Saudi side have tabled an offer of €70 million (£59m/$80m), falling just short of Napoli’s €75 million (£63m/$86m) valuation.
Osimhen’s relationship with Napoli became strained last summer, yet he extended his contract until 2026. That deal is now approaching its final year, potentially weakening Napoli’s bargaining position. The striker had an impressive season, netting 37 goals on loan at Galatasaray.
Discussions between the clubs are ongoing, and if Al-Hilal can finalise the deal swiftly, Osimhen could still be registered for the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup, with the current mini-transfer window closing on June 10.
