Otukpo/Ohimini 2019: Hon. Egli Johnson Ahubi sympathizes with Otukpo market fire victims, pledges support (Photos)
The deputy speaker and incumbent member representing Otukpo/Akpa constituency at the Benue state House of Assembly, Hon. Egli Johnson Ahubi on Monday November 12th 2018, sympathizes with business owners whose shops were razed down by the recent fire outbreak at the Otukpo main market.
Hon. Egli who is also the flagbearer of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for Otukpo/Ohimini federal constituency in 2019 lamented the high level of havoc caused by the incident.
According to him: ” It’s very unfortunate to experience losses like this at a time of national economic melt down like we are facing now.
“I want everyone affected by these fire to remember a popular quote by Henry Ford that says, ‘When everything seems to be going against you, remember that the airplane takes off against the wind and not with it’.
“I strongly believe that God sees and knows your plight and will help you recover quickly than you ever expected. However, I’m going to assist you all in my own way and capacity in subsequent times.” He added
Speaking on behalf of the business men and women affected by the fire outbreak, Miss Christy I.K thanked the Honourable member of the state Assembly for taking out time out of his busy schedule to share in the pain and losses adding that God will help him find and secure what ever he looking.
