The Young Progressives Party YPP presidential candidate Peter Agada has expressed willingness to form an alliance with Peter Obi of the Nigeria Democratic Congress NDC and Atiku Abubakar of the African Democratic Congress ADC ahead of the 2027 general election.

Agada said he was awaiting a call from either or both opposition figures, adding that any partnership would depend on their willingness to support his plans for Nigeria.

He made this known during an interview on Arise Television’s Morning Show on Wednesday.

The YPP candidate also projected that he could secure between two million and 10 million votes in the 2027 presidential election.

Agada explained that his campaign had initially targeted two million votes but expected the figure to rise as his support base expanded.

He said he had spent the 60 days since emerging as his party’s presidential candidate building support through grassroots mobilisation, presentations and consultations.

Agada, who said he previously associated with the Obedient Movement, claimed that more than 40 per cent of its members who had not joined other political groups were backing his presidential ambition.

He added that his political movement sought to unite Nigerians regardless of their party affiliations.

According to him, his proposed coalition would focus on shared national objectives rather than political parties.

Speaking on a possible alliance with Obi and Atiku, Agada maintained that he was ready to work with any of them whose plans aligned with his agenda for the country.

He reaffirmed that his willingness to collaborate extended to both opposition leaders, provided they agreed with the policies he intended to implement if elected president.
