Peter Obi has the vision to rebuild Nigeria — PDP chieftain

A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Anselm Ijebor, has thrown his support behind the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, ahead of the 2027 general election, describing him as the most suitable candidate to lead Nigeria.

Ijebor said Obi possesses the leadership qualities, integrity and administrative experience needed to address the country’s challenges and drive national development.

He also pledged to mobilise support for the former Anambra State governor, expressing confidence in his ability to provide effective leadership if elected.

According to the PDP chieftain, Nigerians should support candidates they believe have the competence, vision and experience required to rebuild the country and deliver good governance.

He noted that the 2027 general election offers citizens another opportunity to elect leaders committed to accountability, transparency and purposeful governance.

“As the 2027 general election approaches, Nigerians have an opportunity to elect leaders with the experience, vision and capacity to deliver good governance and rebuild the country.

“To me, Obi remains the best choice,” Ijebor said.
