The remains of Oba Lamidi Adeyemi III, the Alaafin of Oyo, have been laid to rest.

The Ibadan monarch, who died at the age of 83 at the Afe Babalola University Teaching Hospital, Ado Ekiti, was committed to mother in the ancient town of Oyo on Saturday.
