The management of IDOMA VOICE AND TELEVISION LTD, publishers of IDOMA VOICE have written a strong-worded letter to the publisher of https://www.newsngr.com.ng/ over its constant copyright infringement on its editorial contents.

The management in a letter addressed to the news medium, said it has noticed with anger how NewsNGR lifts stories from its site (IDOMAVOICE.COM) verbatim without crediting the source.

Ben Idah, the Managing Editor of IDOMA VOICE in the letter said the company has briefed its legal team to take necessary action against NewsNGR since they have chosen to ignore its complaints.

The letter also said the team is taking up the case with Google.

Part of the letter reads:

“We are writing to your organisation over your constant copyright infringement on our editorial contents.

“We have again noticed with anger how your platform lifts stories from our site (IDOMA VOICE) verbatim without crediting the source after our first complaint.

“This is highly unprofessional and should stop forthwith.

“While we can’t stop you from aggregating from our site, we believe that the proper thing should be done by linking back or crediting the original author (the site/source).

“This is the second time we are writing to register our displeasure.”
