Premier League Confirms Two Summer Transfer Windows

The Premier League has announced it will implement two separate transfer windows this summer, allowing Manchester City and Chelsea to sign players ahead of the Club World Cup.
The first window will be open from Sunday, June 1, to Tuesday, June 10, before closing for five days. It will then reopen on Monday, June 16, and run until Monday, September 1.
This adjustment comes as FIFA prepares to host the first expanded Club World Cup, featuring 32 teams in a format similar to past editions of the traditional World Cup.
The tournament will take place in the United States, with Chelsea and Manchester City representing the Premier League when it kicks off on Sunday, June 15.
Due to FIFA regulations limiting summer transfer windows to 12 weeks, the Premier League has structured a brief pause to ensure the window remains open until September 1.
FIFA has also designated two official registration periods for new players in the Club World Cup: from June 1-10 and again from June 27-July 3 for teams advancing to the knockout stage.
