Senator Abba Moro decries rising insecurity in Otukpo, urges govt, security to act fast

Senator Abba Moro, representing Benue South Senatorial District and Senate Minority Leader, has expressed deep concern over the escalating insecurity in Otukpo. He strongly condemned the recent wave of killings and kidnappings in the town, calling them a grave threat to peace and safety.
In a statement, Senator Moro highlighted that the perpetrators of these heinous crimes are doing Otukpo, the headquarters of the Idoma nation, a serious disservice. He urged government officials at all levels, as well as security agencies, to take immediate and decisive action to apprehend those responsible and prevent further violence.
The senator emphasized that every Nigerian has the right to live and move freely without fear of harm or harassment. He stressed the importance of safeguarding the lives and properties of citizens.
Senator Moro also extended his condolences to the families of those tragically killed and expressed hopes for the safe return of those who have been kidnapped.
