Super Eagles manager, Jose Peseiro is hunting for his second win as the Nigerian national team manager and hopes he’ll use São Tomé as Principe as lunch on Monday.

Having claimed maximum point as the MKO Abiola Stadium on Thursday against Sierra Leone, Super Eagles will fight to go top of the log with a convincing victory against the Archipelago country in Morroco.

The Portuguese international said in the Pre-match press conference that his super Eagles team are committed to winning every game and are not going to underestimate any team in this AFCON qualifiers.

“We want to be the team at the top of the table, so we must fight hard against the opponents. Every match, we must commit ourselves fully to winning it,” Peseiro said.

“As I said earlier in the week, Nigeria have huge pedigree and they also have both quality and quantity of players.

“It is important that we select the best all the time to win the big games.”

With Super Eagles vice-captain and leader in defense still injured, Jose Peseiro will look to replace him and still avoid conceding goals against São Tomé and Principe.

When asked of how he’ll manage the defensive situation, Peseiro said at the pre-match press conference : “Ekong is not here but I have other players, I have other centre-backs.

“Of course we want to improve our defensive process. Should be able to play a good centre-back.”
