Suspected gay pastor beaten to coma in Otukpo (PHOTO)

By Ben Idah

Two young boys Thursday got more than they bargained for in Edikwu, a suburb of Otukpo community after they accused a Man of God of sodomny.

According to the boy, they caught the cleric, whose identity was given as Pastor Owowicho while forcing his manhood into the anus of a young boy.

The boys, who claimed they caught the man of God in the act, beat him to pulp and extorted four thousand naira from him, a source hinted IDOMA VOICE.
However, upon investigation, it was gathered that the accused was not actually caught in gay act; rather it was an avenue they boys used in extorting money from him.
“When he went home as soon as he was freed, he told his people what happened and they reported to the vigilante, who eventually arrested the boys,” the source said.
During interrogation, one of the boys who gave his name as Akatu, confessed that they wrongly accused the man of God just to extort money from him.
“We needed money and we just had to accuse him. We are sorry,” he pleaded.
