Tinubu: Nigeria is finished – Atiku blows hot at press conference

Atiku Abubakar, the former presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the previous election, has voiced his apprehensions regarding the state of Nigeria’s future. He made these remarks during an international press conference in Abuja on Monday, in response to the Supreme Court’s verdict upholding President Bola Tinubu’s election.

The former Vice President expressed his concerns, stating that the Supreme Court’s decision seemed to have overlooked the appeals and concerns raised by Nigerians, and this, in his opinion, signaled a troubling direction for the country.

Atiku Abubakar also suggested that history would eventually judge his efforts to challenge the outcome of the election and that the consequences of this decision are not only personal but also affect the entire nation.

“If the Supreme Court, which is the highest court in Nigeria, can disregard the pleas of Nigerians despite the evidence presented, then Nigeria is facing a bleak future. I am confident that history will ultimately prove me right, and the greatest loss is not mine but that of the Nigerian people,” he remarked.
