President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has responded to the recent emergence of former Kano State governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, as the Chairman, and Senator Bashir Ajibola as the Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC). In a statement issued on Thursday by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, after the APC’s national executive meeting, President Tinubu called on the newly elected leaders to prioritize unity, peace, and love among all party members.

Emphasizing their pivotal roles, Tinubu urged Ganduje and Ajibola to work diligently for the party’s success and ensure effective governance and quality service delivery.

Addressing the newly elected leaders, President Tinubu stated, “You are the makers and drivers of the party. When we have all passengers inside the bus, the driver must not fall asleep. The brake must also work well. Party loyalty must exist.”

The 12th National Executive Council of the ruling party witnessed the election of Ganduje as Chairman on Thursday.
