Tragedy on Makurdi-Lafia road: How Comrade George Odoo died on his birthday
Fresh facts have emerged over the death of young and vibrant Benue-born activist, Comrade George Odoo.
IDOMA VOICE repors that Odoo, the current chairman of National Youth Council of Nigeria, Benue State chapter, died on his birthday, October 1, 2021 at the age of 29.
The young unionist who is a staunch advocate of good governance, lost his life in a fatal accident along the dreaded Makurdi-Lafia road while journeying to Makurdi on his birthday.
A source said Odoo died since Friday but the news of his death became known on Sunday when his body was identified at the St. Theresa Hospital Makurdi.
Meanwhile, friends and colleagues have flooded his Facebook wall with farewell messages.
