UCL: Benítez predicts tough night for Real Madrid vs Arsenal

Former Chelsea and Liverpool manager Rafa Benítez has shared his thoughts ahead of Wednesday’s UEFA Champions League quarter-final second leg between Real Madrid and Arsenal.
The Gunners head to the Santiago Bernabéu with a commanding 3-0 lead from the first leg, putting the LaLiga champions in a challenging position.
Benítez acknowledged the uphill task facing Real Madrid, noting: “A comeback against Arsenal will be difficult, they’re a very strong side. The Bernabéu can change the dynamics of a game, but if Arsenal manage to score, it complicates things even further.”
Despite the odds, the Spaniard admitted he is rooting for his former club: “Deep down, I hope Real Madrid win and go through.”
Benítez had a brief spell as Real Madrid’s head coach between July 2015 and January 2016, overseeing just 25 matches before being dismissed by club president Florentino Pérez.
