The House of Representatives member elect for Ado, Okpokwu, Ogbadibo federal Constituency, Hon. Dr. Francis Ottah Agbo has reveal why he won’t celebrate his recent victory at the Saturday polls.

Hon. Ottah in a statement said “I appreciate God my creator for life and for granting us the PDP family victory in Benue and Benue South in particular. I want to specially thank my immediate family, extended family, Ari people, my friends, the PDP leadership, the campaign organisation and the people of Ado, Okpokwu, Ogbadibo Federal Constituency and Bayelsans for your prayers, moral and financial supports, before and during the keenly contested 2019 Presidential/ NASS elections in which I was overwhelmingly elected and returned Member, House of Reps to represent the ENONE PEOPLE at the Green Chamber.

” This victory calls for popping of Champaign especially because of my landslide victory in the three LGAs that make up my constituency but I have cancelled celebration of any form in honour of JOSEPH AHMEDU, PhD who passed to the great beyond last Saturday before the commencement of voting.

“Dr. Ahmedu, a perfect gentleman, philanthropist and turnaround expert was the PDP Chairman of the consolidated Campaign Council in my ward (Ijigban). He was passionate about me and the development of Ado Local Government Area and worked so hard for the victory of all PDP candidates even in the face of threat to his life.

“The best I can do to immortalise him is to deliver on this sacred mandate which he worked for. We miss JOE but we are consoled in the fact that he lived a good life of service to man and God! Death, where is thy sting? Rest in peace the great one”. The Hon. Member awaiting swearing in added.
