Wife of popular Ogun Pastor, Fola Achudume is dead

Rev. Fola Achudume, the wife of Apostle Lawrence Achudume, General Overseer of Victory Life Bible Church (VLBC) in Abeokuta, Ogun State, has passed away. She was 55 years old.

Rev. Fola Achudume died early Saturday morning following a brief illness. The news was shared with the congregation during Sunday service by Pastor Adeoye Adeyanju, the church’s Assistant General Overseer.

Pastor Adeyanju expressed his sorrow, stating, “I must announce to VLBC members, friends, and everyone that in the early hours of yesterday, our beloved mother, Rev. Fola Achudume, went to be with the Lord. She would have turned 56 on September 6.”

The passing of Rev. Achudume has been confirmed by Mr. Tunde Oladunjoye, a close family friend and the Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress in Ogun State. Oladunjoye described the news as devastating, stating, “It is with a heavy heart that I confirm this most unfortunate news. I am deeply saddened and on my way to their residence to extend my condolences. It is incredibly hard to accept, but my solace is in knowing she is now among the saints.”
