‘You’re such a terrible human being’ – Lizzy Gold calls out Ekene

Nollywood actress, Lizzy Gold, has fired back at her colleague, Ekene Umenwa, over alleged damaging remarks made about her.

The controversy erupted after upcoming actress Adanma Waller shared a video online, accusing Ekene of allegedly speaking negatively about several industry colleagues.

According to the viral clip, names mentioned included Ruby Ojiakor, Chioma Chijioke, Uche Nancy, Chinedu Isaac, and Lizzy Gold. The development quickly stirred reactions across social media platforms.

Responding via her Instagram page, Lizzy Gold strongly denied the allegations and accused Ekene of fabricating stories about her private life in a bid to elevate herself.

She alleged that Ekene claimed she has body odour and that her two children were fathered by different men accusations Lizzy described as completely unfounded.

Dismissing the claims as false and malicious, Lizzy stated that many colleagues within the industry can attest to her personal hygiene and integrity. She questioned how someone who is not close to her could make assertions about her personal affairs.

The actress maintained that the narrative was deliberately concocted to tarnish her image and discredit her hard-earned reputation.

She added that although she intentionally avoids certain individuals to stay clear of unnecessary drama, she was shocked that her name was still dragged into the controversy.

Expressing frustration, Lizzy condemned what she described as gossip and character assassination, stressing that she has spent years building her brand.

She further criticised Ekene’s perceived public persona, suggesting it contradicts the actions allegedly attributed to her, and urged her to reflect and seek forgiveness.
