2022 WAFCON: Super Falcons arrive Casablanca ahead of Cameroon clash
Ahead of the quarter-final clash against the Indomitable Lioness of Cameroon, Super Falcons of Nigeria have landed Casablanca, host city of the game.
The defending champions qualified for the last 8 of the competition after they walloped Burundi 4-0 on Sunday, to finished second behind Group C leaders Banyana Banyana of South Africa.
Cameroon also finished second in their group after they defeated Tunisia 2-0 on Saturday to book a date with Nigeria.
The Nigerian contingent arrived at the capital city of Morocco on Monday afternoon and they were immediately lodged at the Novotel hotel in Mohammedia.
The match is slated for Thursday at the Stade Mohamed V, Casablanca and a win for either country will take them to the semi-final and a qualification ticket to the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup that will be co-host by Australia and New Zealand.
