One of the leading aspirants for the 2027 House of Representatives election in Ado, Okpokwu, and Ogbadibo Federal Constituency, Abah Okoriko, is set to embark on a ward-to-ward consultation tour aimed at engaging party stakeholders and key community leaders ahead of the APC primary elections.

The APC aspirant, who recently returned from a short family visit overseas, told journalists on Tuesday at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, that he is refreshed and ready to connect with the people of Enone.

“I am back, refreshed, and more determined than ever to serve our people. Enone has a dream, a dream of development, education, and opportunity for every household,” Abah said.

“These consultations across the wards and districts are not campaign activities; they are opportunities to listen, understand, and build solutions together with our people,” he added.

The technocrat emphasized that his consultations are aimed at understanding the pressing needs of constituents, ensuring inclusivity, and building a party platform that reflects the real challenges faced by the communities.

Abah, an insurance expert, outlined his plan to meet with community and ward leaders, youth associations, women’s groups, religious leaders, and local opinion leaders, noting that their input will guide his approach to representation and strengthen grassroots support within the party.

“Every ward, every community, every voice matters,” he said.

Political observers described Abah’s consultations as a strategic move to anchor his aspiration on the Enone people’s needs, build loyalty among grassroots stakeholders, and position himself as a responsive and accountable representative once nominated by the party.

The consultation tour is expected to last several weeks, covering key communities across Ado, Okpokwu, and Ogbadibo Local Government Areas, with Abah promising to return with actionable plans shaped by the people and party stakeholders.
