2027: Alfred Omakwu declares for Adoka/Ugboju state assembly seat
An All Progressives Congress (APC) aspirant, Hon. Alfred Oketa Omakwu, has declared his intention to contest for the Adoka/Ugboju State Constituency seat in the Benue State House of Assembly ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Omakwu, a former caretaker chairman of Otukpo Local Government Area, unveiled his ambition with a message centred on inclusive representation, development, and improved service delivery to the people.
Projecting his vision under the theme, “A New Voice for a Better Adoka/Ugboju,” the aspirant pledged to prioritise people-oriented policies and grassroots engagement if elected.
He highlighted key focus areas of his proposed legislative agenda to include infrastructure development, quality education, improved healthcare, youth empowerment, and job creation.
Omakwu also emphasised the need for accountability, integrity, and effective service in governance, assuring constituents of his commitment to delivering impactful representation.
Describing himself as “a man of the people” and “a voice that delivers,” the APC hopeful called on residents of Adoka/Ugboju to support his candidacy in the forthcoming elections.
He further urged stakeholders and party members to work together towards building a stronger constituency, expressing optimism that collective efforts would drive sustainable development in the area.
