Fulham 2 – 2 Liverpool: Klopp’s men held at Craven Cottage

Liverpool started the 2022/23 Premier League season on a slow pace after they were held to a 2 all draw by Fulham at Craven Cottage.

The Red came from behind twice in the weekend encounter to come second behind Arsenal.

Aleksandar Mitrovic took the lead for the host in the 32nd minute after a fine crossing from Kenny Tete.

Darwin Nunez leveled for the visitors with a back-heel goal in the 64th minute after an assist from Mohamed Salah.

Mitrovic grabbed a brace in the 72nd minute from the spot after he was tripped by Virgil van Dijk in the 18 yard.

A late strike from Salah in the 82nd minute ended the match with 2-2.
