PSG to pay Mbappe €60m if he stays beyond August 1
Paris Saint-Germain is prepared to pay a substantial loyalty bonus of €60 million to Kylian Mbappe if the French striker remains at the club beyond August 1, according to Goal.
Mbappe’s contract with the Ligue 1 champions is set to expire in June 2024. Despite this, the 24-year-old has made it clear that he will not sign an extension beyond that date.
The talented forward is now the subject of intense transfer speculation, with Saudi Arabian side Al-Hilal rumored to have submitted a world-record bid of €300 million.
However, despite the lucrative offer, Mbappe is determined to stay at PSG, where he will be entitled to the loyalty bonus of €60 million.
This clause in his current contract is set to be activated on August 1, and the amount will be paid to him in instalments if he remains committed to the Parisian club.
