Ekeh-Obotu community in Okpokwu on fire, Abba Moro blows hot

The senator representing Benue South Senatorial District and Senate Minority Leader, Comrade Abba Moro, has condemned the Wednesday crisis in Ekeh-Obotu community of Okpokwu Local Government Area that resulted in the destruction of properties worth millions of naira.

Senator Moro wonders why brothers would pick arms against one another instead of uniting together against external aggressors.

The senator expresses disappointment in the actors that carried out the dastardly act and appeals to all aggrieved parties to sheathe their swords and embrace peace for the collective good of the community.

While calling on security agents to urgently step in to forestall a recurrence, Senator Moro sympathizes with those who lost properties in the crisis and prays that they regain all their losses.
