Nollywood actress Jumoke George reunites with missing daughter, Adeola after 4-years
Veteran Nollywood actress Jumoke George has been reunited with her missing daughter, Adeola, after four years apart.
Naija News recalls that Jumoke had recently spoken out about her daughter’s disappearance during an interview with Biola Adebayo on the ‘Talk to B’ YouTube podcast. She revealed that Adeola had been living with her grandmother in Ibadan and was last seen after telling the family she was travelling to Lagos.
However, Adeola was found in Mali, where she had been trafficked. On Monday, May 19, 2025, the Chairman of the Nigerians In Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), Abike Dabiri-Erewa, confirmed via X that the 41-year-old daughter of the Yoruba actress has returned home safely from Mali.
A video circulating online shows Jumoke George breaking down in tears as she embraces her daughter. The emotional reunion captured the actress sitting on the ground, holding Adeola tightly.
