Tears as Deborah Okwori returns home for burial [WATCH]
The remains of Deborah Eneyi Ohekuru Okwori, the interior designer also known as Deb’rah Porsche, have arrived in her hometown of Ugaga Ohuhu, Oju Local Government Area of Benue State.
Deborah was brutally murdered in Lagos by her former lover, Lintex Ogale, two years after she ended their relationship. She was reportedly attacked and hacked to death in her apartment before help could reach her.
On Wednesday morning, her body was brought home to her grieving, elderly parents. The atmosphere turned somber as the casket was received by a crowd of mourners who wept openly at the sight.
In a heart-rending moment, Deborah’s mother broke down in tears, uttering a tribute that moved the entire gathering:
“Since you did not wait to dance at my burial, I’ll dance for you instead.”
