Bandits demand N30m ransom over six clerics abducted in Zamfara

Bandits have reportedly demanded N30 million ransom for the release of six Islamic clerics abducted in Zamfara State.

The clerics were reportedly kidnapped after attending a special prayer session for President Bola Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress, APC.

Conflict reporter D English Alhaji made the claim in a Facebook post on Tuesday.

He said the clerics attended the prayer session organised by the APC campaign Director-General and Senator representing Zamfara West, Abdulaziz Yari.

The circumstances surrounding the abduction and the reported ransom demand could not be independently verified.
