‘You lived your message’ – Pastor Paul Enenche mourns Evang Uma Ukpai

Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Dr. Paul Enenche, has issued a moving tribute following the death of Evangelist Uma Ukpai, who died on 6th October 2025.

In his statement, Enenche described Ukpai as “a beacon of faith and a true ambassador of Christ.” 

He noted that in every breath, word, and act, the evangelist reflected the very Christ he served.

“Papa Uma Ukpai, you lived your message,” Enenche said. 

“You mentored generations, raised giants in the faith, and left indelible footprints on the sands of time.”

He recalled their joint crusade in Otukpo, Benue State, in 2014, and their last meeting in Uyo in February 2025, during which Ukpai eagerly asked, “When next would we go on a crusade together?” Enenche said he would never forget the words spoken that day.

“Your life was a ministry pure, passionate, and purposeful,” he added. 

“Heaven has gained a faithful soldier, and we on earth will continue to carry the flame you lit.”

Dr. Enenche, his wife Dr. Becky Enenche, and the entire Dunamis family celebrated Ukpai’s life and extended their deepest condolences to all who were touched by his ministry.
