Idoma-born real estate mogul Mercy Amatemeso surprises daughter with mansion on her wedding day
Idoma-born real estate mogul, Mrs. Mercy Amatemeso, CEO of Mercy Devine Property, recently made headlines after gifting her daughter, Amatemeso Bessie, a duplex as part of her wedding celebrations.
Bessie tied the knot with Lieutenant (NN) PFA Oforibo in a ceremony that combined both traditional and Christian rites, held at Charismatic Renewal Ministries’ Labour Centre in Port Harcourt.
The wedding festivities began with the traditional marriage ceremony before moving to the church where family, friends, and well-wishers witnessed the couple exchange vows. Guests emphasized tolerance, forgiveness, and perseverance as key foundations for a successful union.
Speaking on the occasion, the groom, Lieutenant Oforibo, expressed his joy, saying, “I am very happy because I am getting married to my best friend. With her by my side, I am confident we will excel in everything we do. We ask for prayers from everyone; they will go a long way in our lives.”
Mrs. Amatemeso also shared her excitement, noting the importance of love and mutual respect in marriage: “It is my prayer that God will keep them. A wife should be submissive to her husband, and the duty of a man is to love his wife. Forgiveness and understanding are key to a lasting marriage.”
Family members and friends echoed these sentiments, advising the couple to embrace love, peace, and tolerance, especially during challenging times.
The celebration was capped with an evening of elegance and recognition, hosted by the Daz Group, leaving guests with memories of a truly remarkable wedding.
