Only Fela is greater than me – Burna Boy

Afrobeat superstar Burna Boy has declared that the late Fela Anikulapo Kuti is the only artist greater than him.

His comment comes amid the ongoing clash between Wizkid and Fela’s youngest son, Seun Kuti.

The dispute erupted on Tuesday after some of Wizkid’s fans compared him to the Afrobeat pioneer, prompting a sharp reaction from Seun, who appeared displeased by the comparison.

The debate over Fela’s legacy has since split opinions online, with some criticizing Wizkid for allegedly disrespecting the legend, while others faulted Seun for his response.

In a video shared on Instagram by Tunde Ednut on Saturday evening, Burna Boy weighed in, saying, “Fela is the king. He is the only one greater than me.”
