AGN appoints BBNaija Tega as special adviser on sexual harassment
Tega Dominic, the popular actress and former Big Brother Naija contestant, has been appointed as the special adviser on sexual harassment to Abubakar Yakubu, the newly elected president of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN).
The announcement of Tega’s new role came on Thursday, January 29, 2026, through a post shared on AGN’s official Instagram story.
Sharing her appointment letter on Instagram, Tega expressed her dedication to the cause, stating:
“My commitment is clear: education, awareness, and accountability; zero tolerance for sexual harassment; protection and support for survivors; safe and confidential reporting systems; and fostering a culture where respect is non-negotiable.”
Tega first rose to prominence in 2021 as a contestant in the ‘Shine Ya Eye’ season of Big Brother Naija, cementing her place in the entertainment industry.
