COVID-19: Oche procures, hands over PPEs, masks, sanitizers to Ado task force team as enforcement kicks off

In fulfilment of his words to facilitate the strict enforcement of health precautionary measures against the spread of covid 19 within his domain, Ado Local Government Chairman, James Oche yesterday donated 20 Personal Protective Equipment, 5000 nose masks and sanitizers to kick off the enforcement exercise.

Presenting the items to the DPO of Igumale, DSP Bulama Usman who is the Head of the Task Force Team on Covid 19 for Ado Local Government, James Oche expressed his administration’s commitment to the welfare of his people especially at this critical time when the state was bedeviled with covid 19. He further charged the enforcement unit to be committed to duty.

Present to witness the handing over of the safety equipment was the Traditional Leaders of Ado led by HRH Joseph Otsiko Onazi the Ad’ Ado and the 2 3rd Class Chiefs for Ado, HRH Ogenyi Ocheme for Zone A and HRH Julius Ade Iguve for Zone B respectively as well as all heads of security agencies within the Local Government.

Expressing happiness with the development, the Ad’ Ado said he was overwhelmed by James Oche’s commitment to the welfare of the people and promised to, on behalf of the traditional fathers also do their best to educate the people on the dangers of the pandemic. The DPO, DSP Bulama said, on their part, they would do their best.

Meanwhile, the strict enforcement of the covid 19 protocol as earlier issued by the chairman yesterday began in Ado and the people who are largely informed seem to be complying respectfully with the directives.
