Ado: Oche visits, promises developmental help to Inikiri community; interacts with elders, youths

Ado Local Government Executive Chairman, James Oche yesterday accompanied by his Vice, Solomon Aboh and other council staff and Aides visited Inikiri Community where he met and interacted meaningfully with the elders and the youths.

The purpose of the visit Oche said was to accord the people of the community a listening ear so as to see how best his administration could work to help alleviate their challenges.

Speaking through a few elders and youths, the people decried the near absence of infrastructure in their community and complained over the high rate of taxes accorded them and decried how they were only remembered during electioneering processes and vowed never to allow themselves be used again.

Reacting Oche said their concerns were genuine and said he was going to take same to the Senator and if possible persuade the Senator to visit them to see things for himself. He promised to, within his strength as Chairman do what he could.

Furthermore, he appointed a committee to be led by the Councillor representing the communities to work to see how the issues associated with taxation and sundry matters could be addressed immediately. He said the light project initiated by Sen Dr David Mark will be brought to the notice of the Senator too.

Oche was accompanied by His Vice Solo Aboh, the Deputy Leader, Hon Adadu, Acting DistrictHead of Ulayi Chief Onminyi Ocheje, SA on Security and Protocol, Mac Johnson Odey, Aboh Sunday, Williams Ochonu, Jeffery joseph, Nathaniel Adai, Mathew Ikpoki, Pdp Ward Chairman Ulayi, Ochai Emmanuel and Abraham Ochoga the Ado Commander of the Homeland Defence Volunteers Front.

The people appreciated the visit in a great deal and expressed happiness with Oche’s passion to serve. They further promised him their unalloyed support while waiting on him to do his best so as to alleviate their hardship.

Some of the notable personalities on the side of the Inikiri people were; Hon Agom Mathew, Mr, Anthony Nwafor, Chief Node Bartholomew, Chief Aleve Nana, Mr innocent Nwafor and Mr Alphonsus Emma. Others are Hon, Emeka Nwokpoku, Hon Nwite Francis, Hon Chukwuma Igwe, Chief Nweke Benjamin and Chief sylvester Obasi among others.
