Again, NNPCL reduces fuel price
The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has slashed its retail petrol prices at its outlets, following a recent reduction in gantry prices by the Dangote Refinery.
Checks by DAILY POST on Monday revealed that NNPCL filling stations in Abuja adjusted their pump price from N1,361 to N1,295 per litre, marking a drop of N66 per litre.
This adjustment comes just three days after Dangote Refinery reduced its petrol gantry price by N85, bringing it down to N1,200 per litre from N1,285.
Meanwhile, some Dangote-affiliated stations, including MRS, have yet to pass on the price reduction to consumers, with their pumps still selling at N1,367 per litre as of this report.
Other major filling stations, including Ranoil, Empire Energy, Emedab, and Total, have also not revised their prices downward, with petrol currently retailing between N1,370 and N1,395 per litre.
