Nigerians must be free to criticise govt policies if they hurt them — Atiku

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has urged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration to allow Nigerians to freely criticise government policies and express their concerns.

Atiku said citizens should have the freedom to speak out when they believe government decisions are affecting their livelihoods or welfare.

“Nigerians must be free to say your policies are hurting them,” he said.

The former vice president described criticism as an essential part of democracy. He urged government officials to listen to citizens and address genuine concerns raised by the public.

Atiku also said Nigerians have the right to demand accountability from elected leaders and voice their dissatisfaction with government policies.
