He made these remarks during the investiture of Dr. Andrew Amine as the 8th State Chairman of the Nigerian Veterinary Medical Association (NVMA) in Makurdi on Saturday.

Mzough U Tiv Worldwide Reveals Death Toll Amidst Herders’ Attacks The pan-sociocultural group representing the Tiv Nation in Benue State, Mzough U Tiv Worldwide, reported that suspected armed herders and militia groups have allegedly killed 147 people in the state over the past two months. The group also demanded an apology from the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar, for remarks insinuating Tiv people were involved in cattle theft.

Currently, the Benue APC holds two out of three Senate seats, ten out of eleven House of Representatives seats, and 21 out of 30 House of Assembly seats. Abba Moro and Ojotu Ojema are the only federal lawmakers who won seats for the PDP in the last election.
