2027: I’m still in APC, will deliver party from top to bottom — Simon Ali
A former House of Representatives aspirant for the Ado/Okpokwu/Ogbadibo Federal Constituency, Prince Simon Ali, has reaffirmed his membership of the All Progressives Congress, APC, dismissing speculations about his political future.
Ali, in a statement, said he remains a committed and loyal member of the APC and would continue to work for the success of the party at all levels.
He said despite the outcome of the party’s primary election, his commitment to the APC and its candidates remains unwavering.
“I wish to state clearly that I remain a bona fide and committed member of the All Progressives Congress, APC. I have not left the party, neither do I have any intention of abandoning the platform on which I have worked with other stakeholders to advance the development of our people.
“As a loyal party man, I accept that in every political contest, only one person can emerge as the candidate. The outcome of the primary election does not diminish my commitment to our party or the ideals that brought us together.
“I therefore remain fully committed to working with the leadership, stakeholders and members of the APC to ensure the victory of our party from top to bottom in the forthcoming general election.
“Our collective interest must remain greater than individual ambition. This is the time to close ranks, strengthen our structures and work together for the success of the APC,” he said.
Ali, who contested for the APC ticket for the Ado/Okpokwu/Ogbadibo Federal Constituency, also thanked his supporters across the three local government areas for standing by him throughout the political process.
He urged them to remain steadfast and continue supporting the APC, assuring them that his commitment to the development and progress of Enone remained unchanged.
“To all my supporters across Ado, Okpokwu and Ogbadibo, I sincerely appreciate your confidence, sacrifices and unwavering support. Our journey has always been about service to our people, and that commitment remains intact.
“I urge everyone who believes in our vision to remain in the APC and work for the victory of the party. We will continue to engage, contribute and pursue every opportunity that will bring development closer to our communities.
“I remain APC, and I remain committed to delivering the party from top to bottom,” Ali declared.
