Operation WhirlStroke soldiers have apprehended Adah Ameh, a councillor from Okpokwu Local Government Area, for possessing a firearm without a valid license. The 43-year-old councillor was captured last Friday, 8th March, in Omusu, a rural community within the Benue South Senatorial District. Security sources disclosed this development to PREMIUM TIMES on Monday.

A delegation comprising members of the National Assembly from Plateau State has visited former Governor Chief Joshua Chibi Dariye. The visit was to offer condolences following the passing of his mother and father.
