The death has been announced of Otukpo-based Nollywood actress, Mrs Dorothy Okoko.
Mummy Okoko passed away on Saturday of unknown ailment.
The Edo-native is no doubt a force behind the success of the Idoma movie industry.
Her last major public appearance was in Abuja during the Idoma Movie Reconciliation Meeting in May where she added her voice to the progress of the make-believe industry in Idoma enclave.
Confirming the sad incident, Idomawood PRO, St. Godwin Ochola described her demise as a big shock.
He said, “R.I.P mummy Okoko, d sad news of ur death struck us like a thunder. May ur gentle and humble soul rest on in d bosom of d Lord till we meet to part no more, ur family, ur fans, d film industry and d entire Idoma people will ever live to miss u Mummy.”
Mummy Okoko had dazzled in many top flicks such as Ochanya, Ada, Oyigebe and many more.
