Four officers killed, van set ablaze as gunmen attack policemen in Enugu

A yet to be identified gunmen crashed with police men along Obeagu Amechi, Agbani in Nkanu, Enugu State.

The incident happened on Wednesday (21st July) when the armed gunmen confronted the men of the Nigeria police, after several hours of exchange of fire.

It was learnt that four policemen were killed and many others sustained some degrees of injuries.

According to report, the unknown gunmen set ablaze the patrol van of the policemen, No casualties were reported at the side of the gunmen.

Efforts made by Newsmen to speak to the police returned abortive.
