Renowned musician David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has discouraged a fervent admirer who set out on an ambitious bicycle journey from Benue State to Lagos to meet him.

The individual in question, Twitter user @emmiwuks, caught the attention of social media users when he embarked on an arduous bicycle expedition spanning several days from Benue to Lagos, with the sole purpose of meeting the Afrobeat sensation Davido.

After eight days on the road, @ssbbmuzi took to Twitter to share photos of the determined fan @emmiwuks, highlighting his extraordinary endeavor to connect with the music icon.

In response to the viral post, Davido himself engaged by quoting the tweet, advising the enthusiastic cyclist to reverse his course. He clarified that he was currently out of the country and thus unable to host the visit.

Davido’s message read, “Turn around, I’m not home.”
