‘I don’t know if my money is gone’ – Another investor breaks silence on Chinmark saga

A young lady simply identified as Ngozi Igbo, has lamented how she was tricked to invest millions of naira into the now defunct ponzi scheme, Chinmark.
The lady said she invested all her life savings in the ponzi scheme for rainy days, but it seems her money is going down the drain.

Chinmark, a ponzi scheme operated by Marksman Chinedu Ijiomah and promoted by Amanda Chisom has since crashed with investors billions.
Narrating her ordeal, the worried lady wrote;

Today is a good day to talk about the Chinmark saga.
I have been silent on this issue because I am an investor.
I started saving heavily from my NYSC days and even when I started working I was saving with Cowrywise.

I decided to grow my savings so I could afford some properties in my name so I invested half of my three years savings for six months into Chinmark.
This is the very first investment scheme I’ve been a part of and this is because I am naturally a very careful person.

As at November and December last year, My friend Chukwudi Iwuchukwu adviced that I remove my money immediately but it wasn’t possible because my 6 months investment plan was to end in February.
I received my ROI until January and was to be paid back my capital in the month of February before all of these saga started.

As it stands now we don’t know if we will be paid back our money at all, I called the customer care representative yesterday and was told that payment had commenced and will be done in batches.

If only I had known about stocks, how to save in dollars and US real estate companies as I know now, I wouldn’t have been in this state today.
I don’t know if my money is gone or if there’s any hope at all but I’m trying not to dwell so much on it before I go crazy.
