Jubril Oche Ekwote expands business portfolio, launches Garment Court Fashion House in Abuja
Entrepreneur and Chief Executive Officer of De Cathydra Garden, Hon. Jubril Oche Ekwote, has expanded his business interests with the official launch of Garment Court Fashion House, a new clothing outlet catering to both male and female fashion needs in the Federal Capital Territory.
The fashion house, located at Tanimu Warehouse, adjacent Anaconda Garden, Karu Roundabout, Karu Site, Abuja, was formally dedicated during a ceremony attended by family members, business associates, community leaders and well-wishers.
The newly launched Garment Court Ltd offers a wide range of fashion products and services, including tailoring, native wears and kaftans, fashion design and academy training, sales of fabrics and clothing items, fashion accessories, wristwatches, footwear, and caps.
Speaking during the dedication, Pastor Alechenu Paul Ochiga of Dunamis International Gospel Centre commended Ekwote for placing God at the centre of his entrepreneurial journey.
“When God is made the foundation of any venture, success becomes inevitable. I am encouraged by the faith and commitment Hon. Jubril Ekwote has demonstrated, and I pray that Garment Court will continue to grow from strength to strength and bring glory to God.”
The cleric offered prayers for the prosperity, sustainability, and expansion of the business.
Addressing journalists after the event, Hon. Jubril Oche Ekwote said the establishment of Garment Court was borne out of a desire to provide quality and affordable fashion products while creating employment opportunities for young Nigerians.
“Garment Court is more than a fashion outlet; it is a vision to meet the growing clothing needs of our people while empowering individuals through job creation and entrepreneurship. We are committed to delivering quality products and excellent customer service.”
He added that the company would maintain high standards in fashion retail while exploring opportunities for future growth and expansion.
The day-to-day management of the fashion house will be overseen by Mr. Ekwote Ella Patrick, who expressed confidence in the brand’s prospects.

“We are determined to build a fashion brand that customers can trust for quality, affordability and professionalism. Our goal is to make Garment Court a household name in the fashion industry.”
Several guests who attended the launch praised the Ekwote family for their entrepreneurial drive and commitment to business development.
Among those who attended the launch were Barr. Edward Omaga, Hon. Emma Pronto Ameh, Hon. Henry Agbo (Above D Law), Okwori Onaji, Engr. Sunday Onoja Ugwu, Anthony Aladam (Common Voice), Peter Obochi (Special Legislative Aide to Hon. Blessing Onuh), Mr. Samuel Adikwu, and several other distinguished guests, who congratulated the promoters of the fashion house and expressed optimism about its success.
