The Senator, who described the journey as stressful, was worth it, identified with the people and promised to address some of the requests they made.

He said, “For a start, Owukpa community will be getting a transformer before Christmas, that will be done without delay. Visibility study will be carried out in Epeilo for one or two boreholes. I will also ensure that health centres are built for the communities.

“The people need all the help, so I will continue to interface with the local and state governments with a view to putting smiles on their faces.

“The state government has done so well; the quick intervention and the ongoing efforts to contain the epidemic is quite commendable.

“Never will I leave my people alone!”
